Biography: “I was born in Des Moines, and spent my first fifteen years in Carlisle, Iowa. After a brief move to Hartfield, Iowa, and Pleasant Hills, I now reside in Des Moines in a small home I completely restored. In high school, I learned a lot about using tools as I built furniture – something I thoroughly enjoyed. After graduation in 2004, I worked in the building trade as a carpenter’s helper. I started a windshield replacement business, but eventually returned to construction. Working in the remodeling industry gives me great satisfaction. I love to see how things come together from the beginning of a project to completion. In my spare time, I enjoy woodworking and am having a blast adding new tools to my collection.”
