Biography: The Des Moines area has been home since 1978 when I began working for a high-end custom home builder. I learned many skills and gained a lot of knowledge about quality home building over the 20 years I was there. In 1997, I started my own remodeling business which I operated for 13 years. In January 2008, I joined the Firstcall team. I married my high school sweetheart, Julie, shortly after graduation. We have two super kids – Nicole, who is a teacher of foreign language overseas, and Christopher, who has followed in my footsteps in the construction industry. My wife and I enjoy home projects, traveling, volunteering at our church, socializing with friends, and being grandparents to Dawson.
