Biography: “I grew up in the beautiful Quad Cities area where I graduated from Bettendorf High School. I was then off to Iowa State, majoring in Physical Education and lettering in volleyball, but actually completed my B.S. at the University of Florida. I spent 15 years on the east coast (between New York City, Florida and Washington, D.C.), relocating back to Iowa in 1991. My parents and three younger brothers all live in the Quad Cities. It’s fun to be with Jim, (6’8”), Jack (6’4”) and Jay (6’9”) where I’m the short one at 6’2”! In my free time, I love to read, cook, attend art shows, restore older homes, decorate, travel and dabble in photography and stain glass. For exercise, I swim and bike which led to me teaching water aerobics at the YMCA in the evenings and on weekends. I recently started a Master's degree program in communications. My business background runs the gamut from small family businesses to large corporations working in event planning, property & office management, advertising, communications and HR. I enjoy organizing, creating systems for efficient and smooth-running operations, interacting with clients and seeking to provide exceptional customer service.”
